About the project
FI4INN supports the co-design of innovative financial instruments for SMEs and startups across Central Europe. Through a Virtual Knowledge Centre and multi-stakeholder engagement, the project facilitates peer learning to improve funding access for market-driven research and innovation.

About the project
BRILIAN demonstrates circular bioeconomy models in rural areas through pilot projects that valorise agricultural by-products. Operating in Spain, Italy, and Denmark, the project develops sustainable cooperative business models involving primary producers.

Pilots4U is a European network and database of open-access pilot and demonstration facilities for the bio-based industry. Powered by CoPilot, it connects innovators with testing infrastructure and expertise to scale up bio-based technologies.

FoodCoP and Pilots4U collaborate to give visibility to tools that support innovation and entrepreneurship in rural areas. We promote the use of both platforms to connect Startup Villages with pilot facilities and resources for scaling agri-food innovations.

SEEDS – Green Small Businesses and Regenerative Farms Solutions

About the Project

SEEDS enhances vocational education and training capacities in MENA countries (Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, and Jordan) to empower youth—particularly young women with fewer opportunities—in regenerative agriculture and green entrepreneurship. Through innovative training, experimental learning labs, and business plan education, SEEDS equips participants with skills to establish sustainable, healthy farming businesses while promoting gender equality in economic activity.

BIOECONOMY GIANTS – Fostering Collaboration for Sustainable Growth

About the Project

BIOECONOMY GIANTS aims to enhance collaboration between primary producers, rural actors, and bio-based industries to accelerate Europe's transition to a sustainable bioeconomy . The project engages over 80 farmers, foresters, and agri-food producers, shifting their role from biomass suppliers to pivotal stakeholders in circular bio-based business models. Through tailored capacity-building programs, direct financial support via two Open Calls, and dedicated decision-making tools , the project aims to unlock Europe's unutilized agricultural, forestry, and agri-food by-products to create 30+ new bio-based products while generating 130+ jobs and reducing environmental impacts by 20%.

BBioNets – Forest and Agriculture Networks for Bio-Based Technologies

About the Project

BBioNets is a thematic network that promotes and advances the work carried out by EIP-AGRI Operational Groups with respect to the management and/or processing of agricultural and forest biomass . The project sets up 6 regional Forest and Agriculture Networks (FANs) in Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, Poland, and the Czech Republic that ensure balanced representation of all stakeholders . Through a quintuple helix and multi-actor approach, BBioNets encourages primary producers, industry, policymakers, and researchers to embrace bio-based technologies, create new income streams, reduce emissions, and drive the adoption of economically viable and sustainable practices across European farming and forestry.
