About the Project
Meet Zolvia, an Irish FoodTech company established in 2023 in Dublin that develops a patent-pending ingredient technology platform designed to significantly improve nutrient absorption, solubility, and stability in foods, beverages, and health supplements. It helps manufacturers increase bioavailability compared to standard nutrients, supporting better performance and reduced waste.
Zolvia’s work contributes to the circular bioeconomy by improving nutrient bioavailability and stability, getting more out of every gram of raw material, reducing input costs, and enabling more efficient, sustainable use of high-value ingredients.
Within the FoodCoP Startup Village ecosystem, Zolvia contributes its formulation science through ingredient supply, co-development, and technology transfer, connecting advanced delivery technology with real products and producers across regional networks.
Founded in Ireland, Zolvia creates local impact by strengthening the national FoodTech base, supporting local innovation, and creating skilled employment—demonstrating how formulation science, sustainability, and collaboration come together to build effective food and nutrition products.
