OCTOMETHA
Turning Farm Residues into Biomethane
About the Project
Meet OCTOMETHA, a French agri-tech company founded in 2023 in Beauvais that develops and deploys low-complexity anaerobic digestion solutions for agricultural manure, slurry, and fibrous residues. Its technology reduces methane emissions from farm effluent management while producing biomethane and digestate.
OCTOMETHA’s work contributes to the circular bioeconomy by converting manure, slurry, and fibrous agricultural residues into biomethane and digestate, improving local resource efficiency and helping close farm-based material loops.
Within the Beauvaisis European Startup Village ecosystem, OCTOMETHA collaborates with local and regional innovation actors, combining engineering, applied R&D, and field-oriented deployment to bring circular-bioeconomy solutions to real farms.
Rooted in the Beauvaisis rural innovation ecosystem, OCTOMETHA creates strong local impact by supporting farmers and rural territories with lower-complexity methane-mitigation solutions adapted to real agricultural conditions.
