Ingredalia
Natural Functional Ingredients for a Circular Bioeconomy
About the Project
Meet Ingredalia, a Spanish foodtech start-up established in 2017 that develops and produces natural functional ingredients from plant-based agri-food by-products, applying circular economy models. Its technology recovers bioactive compounds with health benefits and reintroduces them into food, nutraceuticals, cosmetics, and animal feed, transforming waste into high value-added products.
Ingredalia's work contributes to the circular bioeconomy by transforming agri-food by-products into high-value functional ingredients using innovative, patented technologies. Through products such as Sulforaphan-Smart and Brasphenol, the company recovers valuable compounds from vegetable by-products, reduces waste, and builds more sustainable food and nutrition value chains.
Within the FoodCoP Startup Village ecosystem, Ingredalia plays an important role in connecting industry, research centres, and local agri-food producers. By sharing its scientific and technological expertise and building partnerships across the Navarra region , the company helps build innovation-driven communities that strengthen local supply chains and support sustainable food systems.
